The luchadors doodle is way over due! As I mentioned before,
I LOVE luchadors, not the wrestling part, but just the masks... they are so colorful and fun, and I love drawing them. I've always wanted to doodle bunch of masks together and finally I started one before I went to bed last night and finished it this afternoon. This is just a quick one so it hasn't been cleaned.
Also, here is a
fun link to see hundreds of luchador masks!
HA! that's totally fun! very cool! hard to pick a fave! you SHOULD do a Luchador sketchbook :) haha
ReplyDeletewell, what do you think? my uncle was a wrestler back in the 60's. He was called "The Diablo Velasco" cool uh? I think I will put in my blog some pictures of him. Once I asked him to show me his mask, but it had desintegrated a long time ago. (Moths)

How come when you do a post that says IF there are like 28 immediate responses, and then you do this piece of awsomeness and there are 7 over 2 days. Is there a direct link from illustration Friday to your blog when you submitt a piece.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to submitt your name to drawn. More folks need to see this work!
To anonymous:
ReplyDeleteYes, there is a direct link, but the rule is you have to link to the static page that contains only the post for your IF submission and not your whole blog. So people won't see other stuff on the blog unless they want to explore more. : )
