You are one of my favorite blogs to visit. I check in often, but this is the first time I've commented. I love your whimsical style, and am especially excited about your birds. I too am going through a 'bird phase' in my artwork. I especially look forward to your doodle pages. They are so busy and wonderful - just brimming with good stuff! What may seem like an excercise to you feels like a finished piece to me! You could seriously market those. I am also impressed by your woodburning skills. I actually asked my husband for a woodburning kit for Christmas and (always ready to get off the gift-giving hook) I received it, but still have not opened it. I'm a bit scared by it, but would love to start incorporating it into my artwork. Your little wood burned pieces have gotten me thinking about it again...
If you have time and are interested, I have an art journal that my sisters, mom and I collaborate on called
thingswithwingsartjournal.blogspot.com
I'd love for you to stop by and visit sometime!
I'll be checking in again soon!
