Ceramic Doodle Bowl
It is so much fun drawing on a blank bowl with a ceramic marker. I drew this one Sunday night, waited for 24 hours for the ink to completely dry and then baked it last night. It turned out pretty good (the actual piece looks way better than the photo). My goal is to take a lesson and learn how to build my own ceramic pieces in organic forms, but for now this is a fun thing to do. :)

No I don't have these on my Etsy. I have another art fair coming, so maybe after that I will put them on Etsy if they are still available. (But it will be only for domestic U.S. buyers only, too, because I can track the package.)
Hi Flora
This is fantastic bowl.
May I ask how you do it? Do you just buy any blank bowl and draw with ceramic marker ? Can we buy these item in Canada and do it at home too?
Hi May, yes I just bought a blank ceramic bowl and drew on it with ceramic markers. It's very easy. You will need to check your local craft store and see if they carry ceramic markers. Make sure the bowl you are getting is oven safe because you will need to bake it in the oven at 350F (or whatever temperature your ceramic markers require). The markers I use are non toxic and dishwasher safe (once it's baked), but I still wouldn't use it for food (light food usage such as drinking from a mug is fine I think, but i wouldn't put stuff like soup or rice or noodles in it), and I will wash it by hand.
